Carroll County Schools' First Annual Technology Summit

Success!

Having never planned or hosted an event like this before I am sad to see it over, but glad to see it go off without a hitch.  The Tech Summit began with a rousing Keynote Speech from Dr. Donald White focused on surviving the Zombie Apocalypse!

One of the most important things I heard during the Keynote was: "Technology will never replace the transformative teacher." I could not agree with this more.

The teachers in the room received a lot of great ideas and inspiration for incorporating technology.

Super Teachers!

The eight classroom teachers that presented at this summit did a phenomenal job.  Lynda Bingham, Brandi Goldin, Tiffany Harrell, Heather Morse, Amber Mullis, Robyn Porter, Diane Trantham and Wade Traylor presented on different topics they incorporate regularly into their classroom instruction. Ideas to use QR Codes, Website Design, Google Classroom and many other topics were covered in breakout sessions throughout the day.

Check out this video of the day's events.

Can't wait for the 2nd Annual Technology Summit!!!
